About

Little Stolen Moments is a multidisciplinary outfit creating work in Austin, TX. Equal parts choreographed dance and original music, the trio has been moving audiences since their inception in June of 2006. LSM proudly tout themselves as the forerunner of “interpretive dance” as a legitimate genre. Choreographer Lindsey Taylor works alongside Nicole Whiteside and Stanley Roy Williamson in an effort to create a visual and kinesthetic representation of popular music. Stanley Roy, equipped with his trusty ukulele, delivers soulful outpourings in the form of original songs. This dynamic live performance group has found a supportive home in a vast array of Austin scenes, including comedy clubs, rock venues and gay events. In 2007 they were awarded an Austin Chronicle Critic’s Pick for “Most Creative Use of Three Small Trampolines” and were also named one of the “Ten Gayest Things” of 2008. They have also produced one evening-length show, appeared at SXSW and Fun Fun Fun Fest, opened for comedy legend Neil Hamburger, and produced a music video for indie rockers Wild Beasts.
